Dial Reiterates Earnings Estimate

Dial Corp. reiterated its 2002 earnings guidance for a second time in less than a month. In a press release Tuesday, the consumer products maker said it still expects $1.19 a share before special items for 2002.This estimate is in line with a Thomson First Call survey of eight analysts. Last year, Dial earned 86 cents a share. New York Stock Exchange-listed shares of Dial recently traded at $20.80, up 13 cents or 0.6%, on composite volume of 272,900 shares. Average daily volume is 608,253 shares...
